
New truck registrations grew by 18.8%In July 2026, Ukraine recorded 1,949 resales and first registrations of trucks with a gross vehicle weight over 3.5 tons – 1.2% less than in June, but 24.7% more than in July 2025.266 new trucks were registered: an 18.8% increase compared to June and a 37.8% increase year-on-year. The overall result remained almost unchanged month-over-month, but new vehicles showed a distinct positive trend.The review covers trucks with a gross vehicle weight over 3.5 tons, excluding semi-trailer tractors for which the Institute prepares separate statistics.In the 13-month series, July ranked third in volume. Only May 2026 – with 2,026 transactions and registrations – and June – with 1,972 – saw higher figures.
Domestic Resales Constitute Almost Three-Quarters of the Market
In July, the market structure was as follows:
- Domestic resales – 1,400, or 71.8%: a 25.0% increase compared to the previous year.
- Used imports – 283, or 14.5%: a 13.2% increase year-on-year.
- New vehicles, manufactured or reconditioned in Ukraine – 150, or 7.7%: an 12.8% increase compared to July 2025.
- New imported vehicles – 116, or 6.0%: a 93.3% increase year-on-year.
The new truck segment saw 266 registrations, accounting for 13.6% of the market. Its monthly growth rate was +18.8%, and the annual rate was +37.8%.Among the brands in domestic resales, the leaders were:
- Mercedes-Benz – 211;
- MAN – 186;
- ZiL – 184;
- GAZ – 125;
- KamAZ – 121.
The ten most common models were:
- ZiL 130 – 108;
- GAZ 3307−3309 – 67;
- Mercedes-Benz Atego – 51;
- Mercedes-Benz Vario – 51;
- MAN L2000 – 49;
- MAN TGA – 49;
- Mercedes-Benz Sprinter – 41;
- ZiL 131 – 41;
- KamAZ 5511 – 40;
- Iveco Daily – 35.
This ranking combines older models long in circulation in Ukraine with European trucks changing owners domestically.
Used Imports: Mercedes-Benz and MAN Lead the List
The top five brands among used trucks, first registered after being imported from abroad, are:
- Mercedes-Benz – 98;
- MAN – 80;
- DAF – 24;
- Volvo – 15;
- Iveco – 13.
The ten most common models are:
- Mercedes-Benz Sprinter – 40;
- Mercedes-Benz Atego – 35;
- MAN TGL – 33;
- MAN TGS – 20;
- MAN TGM – 19;
